Theresa Deaton, RDH, BS
Theresa has been with our practice since 2001 and possesses a diverse expertise in the field of dentistry. Theresa began her career as a dental lab technician (fabricating crowns, bridges, dentures, etc.) and then moved into the area of chairside dental assisting. Her love for the profession continued as she received an Associate Degree in Applied Science in Dental Hygiene at Sinclair Community College. While employed full-time as a dental hygienist, she received a Bachelor of Science in Health Professions degree from the Kettering College of Medical Arts (graduating Summa Cum Laude). Additionally, Theresa continued her education and earned a license as an E.F.D.A. (Expanded Functions Dental Auxiliary) which enables her to place restorative materials. Theresa has earned the respect of her peers and colleagues as a highly skilled clinician and contributes to the education of future dental hygienists and EFDA's as an adjunct faculty member in the dental hygiene department at Sinclair Community College.
Combined with an impressive educational and clinical background, Theresa possesses a delightful personality and genuine desire to assist you and your family in achieving optimal dental health. She is dedicated to providing the best dental care possible and is eager to address your oral health concerns and questions.
Shannon Brewster
Shannon began working for our practice in June 2010. She began her career in dentistry as a dental assistant in 1994 and then continued on to graduate from Sinclair Community College in 2000 with her Associate of Applied Science in Dental Hygiene degree. Shannon takes great pride in being able to help people improve and maintain their optimum oral health. She and her husband stay very busy raising their four children.
Mandalyn Fullmer
Mandalyn started her career in dentistry working as a dental assistant at Wilmington Family Dental in 2006. After completing the dental assisting program at the Miami Valley Career Technology Center, she found dentistry to be an excellent fit for her to interact with people and serve others. Her love for dentistry led her to further her education as a dental hygienist. She graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Cincinnati in June 2009 with her Associate of Applied Science degree and returned to Wilmington Family Dental as a hygienist. She is committed to encouraging her patients to create and maintain optimum oral health. Mandalyn enjoys giving her time to volunteer at the Good Neighbor House and has recently taken up the art of photography in her free time.
Brittanie Etienne
Brittanie is a dental assistant. She graduated with her Associate’s Degree in Applied Sciences in Dental Assisting in June 2010; with also a year of experience in the dental field. She plans on going back to school in a couple of years to further her career in the dental field as an EFDA. You may see Brittanie in the office coordinating hygiene appointments and serving our patients with a sparkling smile. On her days off, she enjoys singing, playing with her dogs and watching her boyfriend ride bulls.
Dawn Estes
Dawn is a dental assistant with 12 years experience. She will soon be working towards her Associate’s Degree to become an Expanded Function Dental Assistant. Dawn is a highly skilled, experienced dental assistant and feels that her work in dentistry is her true passion. She resides in Englewood with her two teenage daughters and enjoys traveling and riding horses in her free time. She is happiest in the sun with her children and family surrounding her.
Debby Martin
Debby was born in Stuttgart, Germany while her father was in the U.S. Army, but she has lived in Ohio since age 4. She currently lives in Bellbrook with her husband, Bill. Debby graduated from the University of Dayton with two bachelor degrees in Vocational Home Economics and Secondary Education Home Economics. She taught in the Dayton Christian School system from 1979-2006; taking off several years to raise her two wonderful daughters, Sarah and Lauren. In 2006, Debby joined our staff as a dental assistant. Her cheerful voice, personable manner, and gift of hospitality combined to make her a perfect fit to move into the position of office manager. Debby loves being in a position where she can make patients feel welcome and comfortable. Outside of the office, Debby enjoys reading and expressing her creativity through cooking, basket weaving and chair caning.
Cassi Johnson
Cassi comes to Wilmington Family Dental from a large family background of six siblings. She was born in Xenia, OH and spent most of her growing up years in Beavercreek, Ohio. She attended Beavercreek High School and graduated from a home school program in 2007. Cassi has furthered her education by attending numerous continuing education courses. She is a highly skilled dental assistant and trusted with numerous critical office functions. She finds great pleasure in making patients smile and providing high quality patient care.
